What data do we process?<\/h2><ul><li>Contact details, such as your name, email address, telephone number and address.<\/li><li>Reservation, order, delivery and catering details.<\/li><li>Payment and billing details; full payment card details are processed by the payment provider.<\/li><li>The contents of messages, forms, complaints and other correspondence.<\/li><li>Preferences and consent for newsletters or marketing.<\/li><li>Technical data, such as your IP address, device and browser information, pages visited and cookie data.<\/li><li>Images or video in which you are identifiable, where there is an appropriate legal basis.<\/li><\/ul><p>Only provide special-category personal data, such as medical information, where necessary. We use information about allergies or dietary requirements solely to handle your enquiry, reservation or order with care.<\/p><h2>3. Why do we process data, and on what legal basis?<\/h2><ul><li><strong>Contract:<\/strong> fulfilling reservations, orders, delivery, catering, payments and customer service.<\/li><li><strong>Legal obligation:<\/strong> administration, statutory tax retention requirements and handling requests from authorised bodies.<\/li><li><strong>Legitimate interests:<\/strong> security, fraud prevention, business operations, service improvement and limited analytics. We balance this interest against your privacy.<\/li><li><strong>Consent:<\/strong> newsletters, certain marketing cookies and other situations where consent is legally required. You can withdraw consent at any time.<\/li><\/ul><h2>4. Forms, reservations and orders<\/h2><p>When you contact us or submit an enquiry, we process the information you provide to respond and prepare any potential agreement. External platforms may be used for reservations, online orders and catering. Their own privacy policies may also apply.<\/p><h2>5. Who do we share data with?<\/h2><p>We do not sell your personal data. Data is shared only where necessary with categories of recipients such as hosting and IT providers, reservation and ordering platforms, delivery partners, payment providers, administration and accounting providers, email services, security providers and analytics or advertising partners for which valid consent has been obtained.<\/p><p>We make appropriate arrangements with processors. Independent controllers, such as banks or certain platforms, process data under their own privacy policies.<\/p><h2>6. Transfers outside the EEA<\/h2><p>Some suppliers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where this happens, we use a legally permitted basis for the transfer, such as an adequacy decision or the European Commission\u2019s standard contractual clauses, with additional safeguards where necessary.<\/p><h2>7. Retention periods<\/h2><p>We keep data only for as long as necessary for its purpose, unless a legal obligation requires a longer period. Our general guidelines are:<\/p><ul><li>financial records and invoices: for the applicable statutory tax retention period;<\/li><li>reservation, order and catering records: for as long as needed for performance, guarantees, complaints and potential legal claims;<\/li><li>enquiries that do not lead to an order: normally no more than one year after completion;<\/li><li>marketing data: until you unsubscribe or withdraw consent;<\/li><li>technical and cookie data: according to the periods stated in the cookie settings.<\/li><\/ul><h2>8. Security<\/h2><p>We take appropriate technical and organisational measures, such as restricting access, applying updates, using secure connections, making backups and setting agreements with suppliers. No system is entirely risk-free. Report a suspected data breach to <a href=\"mailto:info@jeweetwell.nl\">info@jeweetwell.nl<\/a>.<\/p><h2>9. Your privacy rights<\/h2><p>You can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction or portability of your data, or object to its processing. You can also withdraw consent.
